It was a relief that the side effects for me were very minor during the second dose, because I kept hearing from everyone about how the second dose’s side effects were much stronger than the first.

This was an amusing exchange I had at the covid vaccination site by me. The healthcare worker was so earnestly cheerful. I think he intended to assuage any nervousness I might have had about potential side effects. I was amused by his choice of tactics, though appreciative all the same!
